Numbers that are indicators, are often pronounced one by one, e.g. nine three in both cases. In Danish that would be different, 93 = tre og halvfems. halvfems = (comes from) halv fem sins tyve = half five times twenty = (5 - 1/2)*20 = 90. In french, this goes the other direction: 90 = quatre vint dis = 4*20+10. Anybody still awake? Johannes
