You've pretty much summed it up. I really like some of the military stuff we have but we get training on it and when you are on a mission, you are focused on a mission. I don't recall seeing cupholders in any tactical aircraft. Though there are ashtrays on Blackhawks. The average driver these days needs something very simple. Hence the popularity of SUV's.
