Hey Betsy, I have a 2001 9-3 SE. It came with Goodyear RS-A. These are not good winter tires. I went out and bought some 15" 900SE alloy rims and put Michelin Pilot Arctic. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. So much so, that I sold my 16" rims and am putting on 17" with high performance summer only tyres. BTW, I live in Toronto, Canada. We get some snow, but not as much as Mag the Swede. Cheers, Spyderman "Betsy" <betsynopsamo.org> wrote in message news:jYQe8.1465$mG.2483nopsamnsc54... > I'm into my second winter a 1999 SAAB 9-3 SE hatchback and since the snow > has just arrived I'm worried.
