Hi all. I live in Sydney Australia and have a '97 9000 CSE that I have recently put a sports exhaust system and turned up the turbo on. The difference in performance has been well worth the cost. My problem is that the other day I was accelerating up a hill )not really pushing it hard) when the turbo seemed to cut out suddenly. My first fear was that I had blown it, but I had not and the turbo still works fine. I think they have a limiter on them so my next thought is that it kicked in way too early. As I said while I was accelerating briskly, I was by no means hammering the car! I have always let the turbo cool down after a "spirited" drive, which I am not sure is necessary or not. So if anyone has an opinion to share on why it happened or if that cool down period in necessary, I'd like to hear from you. Cheers, Mark
