Subject: Re: SAAB TURBO NO POWER HELP

There is a base-boost mode that the car goes in to when the cruise is on.....there is a vacuum hose that goesto a small module that has two wires going to it located a littla back and above your feet (remove the carpet thing over your feet) a SAAB-God told me that sometimes it goes out....all you have to do is jump the two wires together and you'll get regular boost again. Your cruise will now act like it is flooring it to get to the speed it is trying to maintain, though. The little module has a little red round thing on the side of it; ( I think) verify the thingie first. Try this before you play with the wastegate linkage because that does not usually need an abrupt adustment, but if that little dealie went out - you would. -Worn "David Haydon" <home01nopsamorld.com> wrote in message news:Pgxe8.3985$R16.722656nopsam11-gui.server.ntli.net... > Like Michael says, sounds as if you are only getting basic boost, but I > disagree with him saying look at the wastegate first, you should start with > the APC system starting with the vacuum lines and the solenoid.
