Tires, Tires Its all about tires. My 9000S came with high performance michelins that were garbage when the snow fell. Within 50 ft of my driveway , the fine thread were plugged with snow and it was just like driving on skis. The ABS worked fine, so I only slid in a straight line. For those who think that ABS doesnt lock up, think again. In slick conditions and on ice, they lock and unlock continuously. It takes a fraction of a second for this to occur so your car will slide. I threw on a new set of 4 semi agressive Cooper tires with a soft rubber compound and now I will challenge an SUV in the neighbourhood. I need good tires all year round, Canadian, eh!
