I had my gearbox reconditioned only a few hundred miles ago for just under £500 with another £150 or so for clutch, slave etc, not to mention the two half days removing and refitting it... Then I went and crashed the car! (and it's a '91 2.3l turbo Carlsson so the trashed bodykit alone is the best part of £1000 to replace).
