There are two reasons the 'vert windows rattle. The first is that the windows are actually rattling. This can be due to an improperly adjusted door hinge/stop, or that the rollers in the door need cleaning or replacing. There is a TSB with new rollers spec'ed for the NG900 models, I don't know if it applies to the '99 9-3. You might want to subscribe to www.alldatadiy.com and check the TSB list for your car. The second reason that the windows "rattle" is the friction of the glass against the other window and top seals. This can be corrected by lubricating the seals. The dealers have a product, or you can DIY with various products. It has to be redone every few weeks since whatever you use washes off the seals after a while... so you might want to take on the job yourself. Bob
