Subject: Engine No



I have been looking for ages for the engine No of my 93' Saab 9k
2.0 where is it? I have both the manual and Haynes; the manual
suggest the number is printed on the top left corners of the block,
but I see nothing, all I see is the small circle indicating year
and month of manufacture (93). Haynes gives a slightly different
message from the manual: "The engine No is situated on the left
hand rear face of the block for the 2.0", but again I see nothing.
So as you can see, I've done my research. Trouble is, I'm still 
not sure what 2.0 engine I've got in my car.
