Just a note to all Classic Saabers ....I had a bad experience with my 87 SPG the other day.I had been driving mostly highway, at an SPG's usual speeds all day.At the end of the day I backed in my drive as always and heard a wierd noise in the front end but thought nothing of it until the next day, while I started to drive the car was pulling severely to the left like the tire was flat at which point I checked and it was fine so I went to the mechanic SLOOOWLY he checked the front end and showed me where the passenger side upper control arm sheared off!!!! I was very lucky it did not happen on the highway. So maybe at your next oil change have a look at your control arms for rust or fatigue it could lead to catastrophy if it lets go at high speed. Just a thought! Jim
