What can happen if you stand behind the car when it is in neutral? Its not going to jump into gear. And, when the parking brake is on, it is on. Regardless if if breaks, the car will only slide very slowly. If you park it in a steep hill, you should put it in gear. So, I can stand behind my Saab in neutral any day. Not a problem at all....
