You have to find a way to connect the amplifier. The low level between the head unit and the amplifier is not the common single ended (signal & ground) used in ordinary consumer audio, instead it is a balanced (signal+ & signal-) use in pro audio. Attaching the new amplifier here requires an adapter. Another possible location is to use the high level signal at the rear passenger door speakers using a common high level to low level converter.
