Subject: Converting A/C From R12 to R134

I am going to convert the A/C in my '91 900 Turbo to R134. I've scoured the web and this newsgroup in search of information about the procedure but have found very little. Could someone suggest a good resource for this sort of thing, or could you tell me what I should expect/do to make the conversion a success? What I've learned so far is that I need to replace the receiver dryer, all O rings , the refrigerant oil and rid the system of all of the old oil by flushing it. Which conversion kit is considered the best? If you did the conversion, how did you do it? I plan on taking it to an air conditioning place after I've done the conversion and have them fill it up. Will they turn their noses up at a home done conversion? Is R134 available to the do-it-yourselfer? Thanks in advance for your help, Gary
