Thanks, Ken, Confusion about this abounds due to confusing marketing, though. One product often found is with the Valvoline 'Synthetic Dot3 -Dot4' brake fluid. Which states that it is compatible with all Dot3 and Dot 4 fluids. What does this mean, exactly? I do not want 'compatible', I want 'the same as'. What is Synthetic about their Ethylene Glycol anyway? I only find Dot4 at racer supply stores, NAPA and a couple supply houses. The 'other' national chains do not seem to have Dot4 very often. I am guessing that a local supply house which feeds import shops may be a bit more reliable, But I still wonder what that Valvoline product is. Anybody know?
