Hi Clive, I had the same intriguing problem. It is located under the windscreen wipers, under the plastic cowling panel. They aren't cheap to replace and halfords don't sell them. They are a main dealer or specialist part. Saab charge about 35 for them you can get them cheaper at www.eurocarparts.com.
