Your 93 9K has direct ignition, so I would say try to find the NGK plugs. Check www.saabnet.com, or the Sobstory.com. There are several places that carry them mail order for a lot less than the dealer would charge. I have an 87 9000S and use the Bosch Platinum + 4 plugs. My 9000 does not have Direct Ignition. And for the nay sayers, I have been running the + 4 Plugs for over two years without a problem. My last emissions test was better than the previous one two years ago. My 87 9k had 229,385 miles.
