Yes. For me it was the bonnet switch, which got damaged (during a service!!!) Same applies to all other door switches. Check that they all work properly - i.e. make the appropriate light go on/off. If they don't, then a little manual manipulation will normally bring them back to life. You can also pull them out to inspect. Try this first as it will cost you nothing. After that, the alarm system is a big black hole in my experience. There's virtually nothing published - even the AA/RAC don't have any data.
