Thanks for all the info people. I guess I must have been on about the timing chain. I found the reference on a saab site on the web and also from talking to a saab dealer who stated the chain should be replaced at 90000 whatever. Guess the tip is to always listen to the car and if I hear any noises that are strange then I should get it checked.
