Apologies if I've missed the thread on the new 9-3... I have been away... but here it is... the new 9-3... (I am not entirely convinced that this is the final sedan design, but I do believe it is... I guess we won't know for sure until May 13. What do I think? A sad generic looking sedan with few traditional Saab design cues... it is ashame the new 9-3 was designed before the new design team came on board at Saab... the 9x and 93x are definitely Saab - the new 9-3 is a sad compromise aimed broadly at the mainstream. If it doesn't outperform the likes of 318, C Class, A4 and Passat, and S40 for that matter... it will fail to grab the attention of the buyers Saab want's, and lose the attention of the buyers Saab has. One by product of the new 9-3 is that it might increase 9-5 sales... ironic. What do you think?
