Subject: Re: [WAS: Turbo Dump Valve] NOW: Possible Performance Increases

Simon has a web page as does Eric vanSpelde and there is a bit of info there. The dump valve becomes a performance increase only when it cannot hold the pressure against it and it bleeds off pressure in the intake manifold. Did your car come with a dump valve? Does it have an intercooler? An intercooler would be one way of improving power. One can be had from a wrecked T16 (did I get the lingo right?) You will need the other turbo pipes as well. Some speak of low restriction air filters as a means to HP increase. These scare me. Other possibilities are with the APC system. There is a simple modification possible on these as well. I am assuming that yours is the same as the APC on the T16S, but am not sure. http://web.inter.nl.net/users/nospam/toppage1.htm (Eric's page) http://www.nospam/home.htm Regards, KeithG "Paul Halliday" <pjghnopsamail.com> wrote in message news:B8FDD088.10342%pjghnopsamail.com... > in article ab8nlq$4qq$1nopsam.atl.mindspring.net, KeithG at > noonenopsamhlink.net wrote on 07/05/2002 15:14: > > > 'tis true I did not catch that it was an 8V.
