Someone who looks an awful lot like Lee Marshall <leenopsamamenigma-it.com> wrote: > Couldn't you just order a chip from Hirsch in Switzerland and then > have it installed by your local dealer? When I spoke with Dave at Abbott USA, I asked about why the USA spec'd ECUs have different specs than the european spec ones, and it's because the engine management is done differently enough between markets that it makes it not work well. He's tried Abbott UK's euro-spec T7 ECU, and at the time (about a month ago) wasn't happy with it on US-spec cars. I assume that someone of Hirsch's quality would have similar differences depending on the market for the car, so I don't think I'd just go buy it from them if they'd even sell it to me. The Saab USA website does list the performance upgrade for the 2000 9-5, saw it a week or three ago. When and where did you see that it would be Europe only? Dave Hinz
