Thanks all for the ideas, but I don't understand how the turbo can only be heard while recirculate is on... I checked with the window open and couldn't hear it... The noise is like a whine, I would guess that it is a fan or air whistling past something, I spoke to the dealer again and they are adamant that it is normal.
