Thank you Dave. I feel better after reading your post. The car exterior is in almost showroom condition. I didn't even see any parking lot dings on it. All the trim is there and the bumpers are great. It has very good rubber on it and the wheels all look good. The glass is excellent. The car is a beautiful cream color. Does this sound like an original Saab color? I plan to look at the interior of the car and talk to the owner sometime this afternoon but what I was able to see from the outside, the interior is in as great a shape as the exterior. If this person has the maintenance records available and everything looks good there, I hope I have the patience to wait and take it to a mechanic to be tested out. I'm rather impulsive. Thanks again for your reply and I'll keep you and the group updated as to what finally happened. Dreaming of a nice ride in the New Mexico mountains with the sunroof open :) Deety "Dave Wysocki" <MAPSdwysockiONnopsampc.com> wrote in message news:3cea7ae5$0$3333$272ea4a1nopsam.execpc.com... > In my view, high miles with a car in good exterior condition is probably > a good sign, as it might indicate that the owner has kept it in good > repair.
