I looked at the car yesterday. I'd checked out prices on the web, and agree that the asking price is very steep. The dealer has also had it for 6 months. The service record was in the car, and no stamps since 36k - worrying The bodywork is is good nick, considering its been stood. But then again, Swedes have a reputation for good bodys. ;-) The mechanic at the garage is giving it a once over before I can take it for a test drive (again, stood for 6 months). I'm glad I got a look before he had a play though! It's done 5k miles since the MOT in 2000. There is a later MOT certificate. I had a look under the bonnet. The coolant was a bit murky, and the whole engine bay was in a bit of a state. The interior smells of damp, but again that's probably standing time. Unless I can get this for about £700, then its no go! Its obviously not been maintained, and from what I can tell, these things are money pits if not looked after. Thanks for the help anyway! Adrian
