There are a couple of relevant pages on the internet - I think there is a good one at www.nospam - check out the technical pages. I recently replaced my headlining and it is a fiddly job, but one that I think would take you a day to complete if you had everything to hand. The trickiest bit is getting the headlining out without damaging it. If you have a 900 hatchback then it is straightforward - the fibre board comes out through the back without difficulty. If you have a car with a boot then I don't know how you'd do it. I have read stories of rear windscreens having to be removed. Once out you can strip off the old headlining fabric. What happens is that the foam backing to the material sticks to the board and needs to be scraped off which is a long tedious crappy job. My suggestion here is to use wallpaper scrapers. Also wear gloves and a face mask - the fibres seemed to irritate my skin no end. Having a sunroof shouldn't pose any difficulties but don't do what I did. I thought the fabric tucked under the headliner board around the sunroof aperture in the headlining board. Having cut it appropriately I installed the finished headlining to discover that it doesn't! Rather it folds around the aperture in the sunroof itself and is held in place with a long plastic trim. So I now have a hole at each corner at the sunroof!! If you need some more advice then please e-mail me privately. best, Pete
