I used to live very near Perillo Saab. I could walk to my house if I needed to leave it for service. I stopped going there for service the minute my car was not in warrenty. The experience was always painful and I never felt like I was getting what Saab was paying for. I would never go back. My wife has a lexus. If you are used to that level of service don't go to Perillo. You'll also probably have a hard time purchasing, and liking, a Saab in Chicago. I've had my 1994 900 Convertible for nine years. It's a great car that's been good to me. I purchased my Saab in Minneapolis. Service there, for the first two years of its' life was great. I've been back in Chicago for seven years and I've yet to find a Saab dealer I trust and would feel good buying a car from. If anyone on this board has found one I'd genuinely be interested in hearing about it.
