I know Volvo sold the car side to Ford and kept the truck manufacturing. Did Saab sell the car and truck business to GM, or just the car? Saab used to make big trucks, but I don't know if they ever made anything for off road use. Who makes the trucks for the Swedish military? These certainly have off road capabilities. But, then the original post was looking for four wheel drive cars, probably not ever intended for anything worse than a few inches of snow or rain wet roads.
