we have been using 175/70 and 185/65 both on 15" rims since 11 winters now. the 175/70 grips better through deep snow but the 185 has better general handling, especially in after-snow time when the roads are still wet and have this kinda-half molten snow mush on them. also with the wider tires the car feels less gummy.. but thats probably due to the lower sidewall. in summer we use 195/60 on 15", so i cant comment on 16" or 17" yet. but coming soon... with the "new" used aero :) bye simon putz > I thought that i should probably add that i live in Canada.
