Subject: Is My '98 SE Turbo a LEMON?

All,
My 1998 900 SE Turbo's Check Engine light comes on literally every 4 weeks. The car is in the shop again now. This month one of the oxygen sensors needs replaced and some connectors in the harness needs cleaned-up. They're also getting a "fuel trim code" which seems to be a continuing code that appears.
Last month the Check Engine light came on and they said I had a vacuum hose leak and they replaced the hose.
The month before that the check engine light came on and they were getting a "Fuel Trim Code."
The month before that the check engine light came on and they said my shift sensor was shot and that had to be replaced (I have an automatic). I suspect my dog might have caused this problem since she has occasionally shoved my gear shift into neutral with her paw (baaaaad puppy). Oh and the "fuel trim code" came up but they didn't know what was causing it so they added an $18 bottle of fuel additive.
I have been to the dealer at least 4 times so far this year. I now have just over 50,000 mi.
I'm feeling like I have a lemon Saab. My warranty ended last November (2001). The check engine light came on while it was under warranty, and that was a pain in the ass, but at least I wasn't getting charged through the nose during that time and I was able to get a loaner car each time.
BTW, I've already had to replace the serpentine belt, brake pads & shoes, two front tires all before 43,000 mi. (and all when the car was out of warranty) and while under warranty they replaced the SID and some other things along the way..
I want to keep this car for at least 5 more years but am worried that I'm just throwing good money after bad. I'm unemployed and don't have the $$$ to buy a new car and frankly, I feel THIS car should be able to last me to at least 100K miles. I hear of people talking about their Saabs that have over $200K. At the rate I'm going, I fear the car will spend more time in the shop than on the road.
Any opinions on what I'm experiencing? Do you think I have a lemon?
