Subject: Re: What tyres are best?

In a 92¥9000 sport turbo (205/50/16 tires) front tires used to last about 15000 km before change would be recommend. back tires could last up to 60000 km and sometimes we used to change them because of a matter of time (I don¥t like to use tires more than 2 years old) I never experienced any problem with the back of the car passing me over (I can¥t find any open parking or driving school, sick) and I always put the best tires at the front of the car. I agree that it is more difficult to control an oversteering car but I found my saab extremelly understeering, specially when you accelerate at the end of the curve and the front stars loosing some tracciÛn and goes wide the curve. The new 9-5 Aero is a little more equilibrate car (and so it is the tire comsumtion) and maybe it¥s better what you say but in my old 9000 noway.
