Subject: Re: New 9.3 cup holder

Pep Boys (an aftermarket dealer in the US) sells a number of different cupholder inserts, that are designed to allow smaller cupholders (as in the Saab) to accommodate larger cups and bottles. I am a singer, and so hydrate constantly - usually from liter-sized water bottles. I found a simple black cupholder at Pep Boys which fits snugly into the Saab center console cupholder, and permits it to hold 3 different sizes -12/16 oz., 20 oz. (a common soda bottle size) and quart/liter. It even has a cut-out for a coffee cup handle. Works great, and it cost me less than $3. (Sorry I can't remember the brand offhand.) FWIW, fully agree with all the comments about the importance of cupholders in the US, especially in commutes and on the interstates. BTW, we are also used to lights in the glovebox <G>.
