Get the tyres that match the tyres on the rear. You should also put the best tyres on the rear of a front wheel drive car - unless you are an expert driver. Most drivers can handle a front end slide much better than a rear end slide. If you want to gave some fun. Put brand new, rain tyres on the front wheels of your Saab. Accelerate in a turn on an empty wet parking lot and watch the rear end of the car pass you. If all four tyres are the same make, model and condition this won't happen.
