Subject: Re: '93 900s won't run - fuel pump?

I seem to have avery similar problem with my 900 turbo. Difficult to start - then would cut-out randomly when either windows were lowered or left indicator used - would fire up OK as soon as I stopped using windows/indicator. Then it just refused to start at all. I laid it up for a few months and then thinking that I should at least turn the engine over, I removed the fuel pump fuse so as not to fill the cylinders wih fuel - and it started - for about 4 seconds. Replacing the fuse and it didn't start - removing it again and it did. What exactly is meant by 'jumping' the pump relay and how do I do it. Also Keith - from your other post - how do I check the hall sensor - what equipment do I need to check it?
