I found the Geartronic was best > > left in Drive. > > Yes, the sensonic is exactly *not* what you describe. > if i understood correctly, sensonic has kind of contact or something in the gearstick, so if it senses movement, it uses a vacuum mechanism to engage the clutch and it will disengage it for you when you are in gear. to me it sounds pretty failure-prone. i like to have control over stick AND pedals. geartronic is just a normal automatic transmission, i dont know for sure, but i guess if it has a stick like those renaults (i.e. automatic-style + up and down field) then you would just tell the software of the transmission, or actuate a relais or a circuit or something to shift up and down. doesnt make much sense to me, with AT¥s on the market that do have sport and winter/economy mode, kickdown etc. bye simon putz
