I think a lot of the oily bits were eaten, actually. It is in the owner's manual in the service schedule. Market researchers apparently determined that Saabs were not selling because they did not have a v6. Saab grabbed it from Opel and, voila, a Saab v6. It was subsequently dropped after 2 yrs or so. I was able to get Saab to cover a warranty issue with a gearbox, but it was only 2 months and 1k beyond the warranty. I also lobbied that I had 3 saabs and my dad had 2 and my brother one.
