Subject: C900 suspension

Hi all, Wondered if anyone could give me their thoughts on what may need replaced on my rear suspension on my 1993 900SE LPT (130,000 miles). I'd like to have an idea of what could be wrong before I take the car to a garage. These are the symptoms - Clunking noise coming from the rear corner of the car when accelerating or braking at low speeds. Rumbling noise from rear whilst driving with passengers in the rear seat. Unsteady roadholding when driving over bumps and whilst cornering, especially when turning right. Generally the ride quite hard and every bump in the road can be felt. What suspension components should be replaced, bearing in mind the mileage? Is there a typical lifespan for the various suspension components? Help appreciated Wes
