Sorry to hear you had difficulty. Moving the spring the first time can be a little tricky. It's not difficult, but if you have never done it before it can be interesting to figure out. Next time just remove the headlight. Yes, I said remove the headlight. Open the hood and (using the TORX wrench in the truck tool kit) remove the one screw that hold the side lamp in place. Let it hang by the side and remove the two screws on top of the headlight and the one screw that hides behind the side lamp. You can then see what you are doing. If you want more flexibility, you can disconnect the wiring harness by sliding the red bar back about 5mmm, then gently pulling the connector off. If it takes you more than 10 minutes to remove the headlight, you've been drinking too much. Bob
