That was not my experience, when the bulb on my 1996 900SE blew out recently. I had the greatest difficulty in moving the spring, and ending up having to take the car to the dealers -- just I had a few months earlier when the fog light on this car burned out. My Saab experience, I note, was in sharp contrast to what happened with my other car, a Miata, where fixing this problem was simplicity itself -- and to my experience with my daughter's Toyota Camry, where it was almost as simple. In both cases, the only trip needed was to Pep Boys.
