Guess who the "someone else" is in this case? Look for > documentation of all maintenance work being done on time. Absolutely. If the selling dealer won't give you a printout of the entire service history (he *does* have access to it), smile, shake his hand, and drive down the road to the next dealer, who will. I wouldn't worry more about a lease car specifically, but do check the service logs to make sure that they've taken care of it properly.
