Fortunately, Saab garages seems more professional than most; I have had previous experiences with Ford and Fiat before... nuff said. My Saab 1993 9000 CSE 2.0 turbo has had the usual mid-life hiccups that we all know about: DI, head gasket, dump valve, gearbox, timing chain, vacuum leaks. But for the last couple of years it has been exemplary with the engine smooth and strong as ever. Added to that, the car feels very stable and relaxed to drive. If you buy one, ask to see the bills for what has been done, when and by whom. Johannes http://users.surfanytime.co.uk/johs
