The "time for service" message has again appeared on my SID. I have 34,000 miles on the car. I had the car serviced at 30,000 miles. It odviously is not due for servicing. The "time for service" message also came on at 28,000 miles, not 30,000 as it should have. I complained to the dealer and they said they would fix the problem. Why would my car be giving these erroneous "time for service" messages? I have a 2000 9-5 and the regular maintenance interval is every 10,000 miles. I have been following the recommended maintenance procedure and had the work done by the dealer.
