It's almost exactly half way between the rocker cover and the throttle intake towards the front of the engine bay, but before the turbo pipes. It has two 1 inch? pipes running through it and an electrical connection. Both pipes go to the throttle intake, but one before the throttle plate and one after - the throttle plate can be located by finding the "butterfly" at the end of the accelerator cable. It does hiss slightly normally, so I'm told. I found putting some jubilee clips on the pipe ends helped my injection only model. You can have a good look at it by removing the electrical connection and the hoses - the unit can then just be removed. Paul 1985 900i 16V 1989 900 Turbo S http://pjgh.go.dyndns.org/saab/index.html
