Perhaps Saab planned an 1.8 with the same power, but didn't get it ready in time? Or they rationalised that a common 2.0 was simpler? The same game is played by BMW; is the engine of a BMW 318 a 1.8, 1.9 or 2.0 ? - take a pick. There will be no clues on the car. Johannes
