Subject: 86 900 Central Locking Broken



My '86 900 T central locking does not work any more. The driver's side door
switch seems to work OK as tested from the connector under the hood in front
of the door. I am fearful that it is the control unit.

Is this behind the kick panel under or behind the glove box? I'd like to
know for sure before I start tearing it apart.

Can the unit be fixed at all or is this a replace-only item?

Any other advice?

Car is LHD, USA model.
