I've just bought a '98 aero that has an unusual fault with it's memory seat. It either does not work at all, or goes into a 'song and dance routine', adjusting itself with no prompting. The seat had probably not been moved for some time (only one driver), but he had a new battery fitted on the day I collected it. The mechanic returned the car to him so the seat was moved. So two possible causes there, a new battery and the seat being moved. I've looked at the cables and cannot see anything obviously amiss. Before I spend more time or money on it I thought I'd check if anyone else has had this problem and what the cause turned out to be. many thanks David
