The gas companies just finished up a long lawsuit with the Fed's a year or so ago concerning claims that premium fuel was somehow "cleaner burning" than low octane. Bottom line is that they all add the same additives (less the octane boost) to all of their grades of gas. They are now prohibited from making the fraudulent claim that higher octane gas is any better for your engine in any regard except octane. Bob
