never felt torque steer!!! You must have only driven non-turbo Saabs then! My '90 900 16S turbo, and my two 9k Carlssons had torque steer by the bucket load. My '98 9k aero is much better, but it is still there. I tend to agree with the original post, I would love a RWD Saab. The turning circle could be smaller, they are easier to work on and arguably more robust. Handling is a matter of preference, though FWD is 'easier' in the snow & ice. Most of all though it would mean that Saab could fit a decent gearbox (transmission) instead of the pile of junk they used in the 9k (can't comment if the 93 & 95 is any better).
