I don't think Yaofeng is right, here, unless they changed it from the '87 to the '96... There is a different part number on saabsite.com, but they look similar enough that the removal procedure should be the same. Front wheel bearings on the '96 9k I did were just that, Bolted to the steering knuckle. Remove the driveshaft nut, tap it to make sure it slides in. Remove the 4 bolts and tap the bearing loose if it needs it. Piece of cake! Make sure you inspect the ball joints as well. 3 more bolts and one clamp bolt if I remember correctly. also a piece of cake. You have to pry the a-arm from the knuckle to see if there is ANY play. If so, replace.
