<< The usual recommendation is to use recaps in commercial businesses where you roll up many miles and the casing itself is both expensive and *designed* for recapping... and to avoid it in the end user market where the tires are designed to be thrown away when the tread is gone. Don't forget, the sidewall de-stiffens from use and the rubber ages quickly on a tire.
