The resistance reading doesn't tell you that the AIC valve is ok. The coils are ok, but the valve is probably sticking badly. The fact that lubricating it helps is further confirmation that it is the main problem. If I were you, I'd find a friendly Saab garage, borrow a good valve, and try it out. -- Grunff
